ABOUT US
The Duke’s Theatre Company was established in 2021 as an ambitious contributor to the UK’s thriving open air theatre scene. The work has since grown to take in a broader, exciting range of indoor venues and produce other types of live theatre.

“Our aim is to bring industry leading, accessible productions of some of our greatest Classical works to communities around the UK with energy and ambition; engaging all demographics in our audiences. Our production values will be high and we will strive to work with the best possible standard of creatives, performers and artists.”
In 2021, TDTC produced its inaugural tour, Romeo and Juliet. The company has gone on to increase the touring model year on year, (2022, A Midsummer Night’s Dream / 2023, Twelfth Night / 2024, As You Like It). Beginning in Winter 2024, TDTC launched its first Christmas Season with a new adaptation of A Christmas Carol. Regular touring dates have grown to include an indoor visit to Wilton’s Music Hall as well as The Minack, Thorington Theatre and Berkeley Castle. TDTC is proud to work with a variety of national organisations including overall bodies CADW, The National Trust and The University of Leicester, as well as over 50 individual organisations taking in the likes of Bowood House and Gardens, Fairlight Hall and Hever Castle.
In 2025, Macbeth will play it’s first indoor Autumn tour following the Summer tour.
