Directions if you're driving
Haigh Woodland Park is within easy reach of both the M6 (J27) and the M61 (J6). If approaching from the M6, take the A49 towards Standish, then the B5239 to Haigh. Look out for the B5239 and Aspull, then Haigh, when leaving the M61.
Alternatively, Haigh Woodland Park can easily be found close to the two main A roads, the A6 and the A49.

A large car park is located at Haigh Woodland Park with a number of disabled parking spaces available. Haigh Woodland Park is now operating a ticketed barrier pay system in all car parks. This means payment is on exit from the car park, so there will be no ticket to display. Car parking is free up to 30 minutes, £2.00 between 30 mins and 90 mins, and £4 all day thereafter. Parking can be paid using cash or card. The car park is open until midnight for his event.
Patrons are encouraged to enjoy the surroundings from 1 hour before the performance, during which time picnics are encouraged.
Paper tickets are not required.

The Car Park has a number of accessible parking bays. Car Park fees apply for use of accessible bays. The Walled gardens are approximately 400M from the car park along a wheel chair and pram friendly footpath.
There are accesssible toilets in all public toilet blocks and a full suite with bed and hoist in the Kitchen Courtyard facility.
Toilets are located behind the Visitor Centre and within the Kitchen Courtyard. Nearest toilets are approximately 300M from Walled Gardens (venue for performance).
Please bring with you fold up garden chairs, camping chairs or blankets. Seating is not provided. The auditorium area is unreserved, and people who wish to sit on blankets will be advised to sit in the first 5 metres in front of the stage, and people with chairs seated beyond. We ask that gaps between groups are kept to less than 1 metre. If gaps are larger, stewards are instructed to seat other parties in the space. The production is supported by a Public Address system, with each actor individually amplified.
Food and Drink
Picnicking is encouraged before and during the performance, and at the interval. There is no bar or refreshment facility at this venue.
Owing to the unpredictable nature of British weather, no performance will ever be cancelled sooner than one hour before curtain up, (with the exception of lightening forecast, as set out below).
The performance will continue in light and moderate rain or wind. Please wear appropriate clothing, and check the forecast in the hours leading up to the performance.
If a lightening warning shows on Accuweather™ in the two hours leading up to, or during, the performance, the event will be abandoned. The Company Manager holds sole responsibility to check the forecast regularly.
If rain or wind is deemed heavy by the Company Manager and Venue Manager, (not ticket holders), the performance will pause. If after 25 minutes the weather has not improved, the event will be abandoned. No more than three attempts will be made to recommence per performance. If the number of minutes paused totals 30, the event will be abandoned. We politely ask that ticket holders do not contact the company to request weather updates during the lead up to the performance; ticket holders will be notified by text message and email should the event be cancelled for any reason, including weather. Notification will also be issued on social media platforms.
Refunds and Rained Off Events
If the number of minutes performed totals less than 30, the event will be abandoned. In the case of an abandoned or rained off performance, all ticket holders will be contacted via email within 7 days with the offer of a full refund, a ticket transfer to a rescheduled performance at the same venue, or an offer to attend the same production at a different venue. Requested refunds will be processed within 21 working days of the original event. We politely ask that ticket holders do not contact the company to request refund/ticket transfer, or enquire about plans to reschedule.
